I am honored to join The Beautiful Way Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board, as its mission aligns with my commitment to advancing health equity and improving access to ethical, inclusive cancer research. As a physician-scientist focused on cancer care delivery, my work seeks to address disparities in cancer discovery and care, ensuring that innovations in leukemia treatment and beyond are available to all communities.
The foundation’s dedication to bridging the gap between underrepresented populations and clinical research is critical to achieving meaningful progress in healthcare. My research on representative participation in cancer clinical trials has underscored the urgent need for inclusive, community-driven approaches to clinical research. By serving on this advisory board, I look forward to contributing my expertise in ethics, care delivery, and population sciences to help eliminate barriers, build trust, and create sustainable models for equitable healthcare.
Together, we have an opportunity to shape a future where healthcare innovation is representative, accessible, and just. I am excited to collaborate with The Beautiful Way Foundation to drive impactful solutions and meaningful change.
